About Quinta de Sant’Ana

We chose to host our celebration at Quinta de Sant'Ana because it's more than just a venue; it’s an organic, family-run flower farm and winery. It stood out to us for its authentic Portuguese feel and the warm hospitality we experienced when we visited. It is especially meaningful to us that the wine and flowers are grown on the farm, the food is sourced locally and the wedding cake is homemade with care at the Quinta.

We cannot wait to host our afternoon cocktail reception in the sunny courtyard, featuring a wine tasting in the Quinta’s ancient cellar. From the manual harvesting to the hand-tasted batches, the love put into these estate-grown wines is special to witness. We look forward to spending time with you sipping Portuguese wine while enjoying canapés, local cheeses, chouriço sausages, and traditional Tiborna bread.

Formal Dress Code

We would love for everyone to wear formal attire. In keeping with tradition, we kindly request that guests do not wear white dresses or white suits as white is reserved exclusively for the bride. Thank you for your understanding, we look forward to seeing everyone in their formal attire!

For more guidance on the dress code, please see the details below:
For Women: A floor-length gown or elegant dress that falls at the ankle or below.
For Men: A formal suit, preferably in a dark shade, paired with a white dress shirt and a conservative tie.

To assist you with planning, we have curated a mood board that represents the formal tone of our wedding.

The Ceremony

We invite you to be fully present with us during our ceremony â™¡

Devices
We kindly ask that all phones and cameras remain off and tucked away during the ceremony so you can enjoy this special moment with us. We have hired an incredible team of photographers and videographers to capture our day, and we promise to share those beautiful memories with you later!

Once the ceremony concludes, please feel free to use your phones and cameras to capture the celebrations! We would love to see the day through your eyes, and we invite you to join our digital photo album to share your favourite memories with us.

Children
While we absolutely love your little ones, our 30-minute ceremony will be an adults-only occasion. For those attending with children, the Quinta has recommended having a family member stay with the little ones by the love bird habitat or the sheep pasture.

Our Wedding Timeline

On the day of the wedding, we will be providing a shuttle service from Sintra to the venue and back. The shuttle will depart Sintra at 2:15 PM to ensure guests arrive to the venue on time. The designated pickup and drop-off points will be provided here once they are finalized.

Upon arrival to the wedding, settle in and enjoy a refreshing glass of homemade lemonade, iced tea, or sparkling water.

Please join us by the vineyards to witness us exchange our vows and become husband and wife!!

Gather with us in the courtyard for our cocktail reception. There will be a variety of cocktails, canapés, local cheeses, chouriço sausages, olives, and traditional Tiborna bread. Meanwhile, in the Quinta’s ancient cellar there will be wine tasting.

As the cocktail reception is winding down around 6:20 PM, we will bring everyone together to capture a group photo!

The celebration continues in the dining room. Please join us for a locally inspired four-course dinner paired with Quinta de Sant’Ana wines and heartfelt speeches.

Join us at the open-air patios beneath glowing string lights and lanterns as we cut the wedding cake and share our first dance as husband and wife.

Let’s keep the party going! Meet us in the Olive Oil Ballroom, which was once the Quinta’s olive oil press, for an evening of music, dancing, and an open bar!

Take a break from the dance floor to enjoy a few of our favourite Portuguese sweet and savoury treats.

The first return shuttle back to Sintra will depart the Quinta at 11:30 PM, for those who would prefer an earlier night.

Join us for one last song and a final toast to the newly weds! As the evening concludes, the last shuttle to Sintra will depart at 1:30 AM.
